Women Business Resource Center


Women’s Business Resource Center is the small business assistance division of Hunts Point Economic Development Corporation and Funded by the SBA a nationwide network of women business center a least one in almost every state and U.S. Territory . Our mission is to assist women entrepreneurs as well as minority business owners through provision of financial roundtables and two yearly twelve week Entrepreneurship Training Courses. These services are offered in English and Spanish. The main goal of our network is to close the technical assistance gap limits the growth potential and job creation capacity of small to midsized companies. As a resource center that is part SBA, we stay up to date by sharing resources and provide referrals at our case sharing roundtables.

Most of our clients are community based small business owners and home based entrepreneurs who are looking for free of charge assistance with business plans, marketing, procurement, and permit and license information, insurance etc. We strive to help women and mean achieve financial security through self-employment

 The WBRC staff consistsof professional consultants, faculty and members of the business community. Women's Business Resource Center provides one-one counseling as well as training programs and workshops.

WBRC Services- Combining the expertise of a professional staff and the resources of Monroe College in the Bronx, WBRC provides high quality one-on-one business management, consulting, information and education program that build the capacities of firms.
